We had a very easy day today. I did get out to Curves, but the rest of the day was pretty lazy. While we caught up on some DVR'd programs, I worked on my cross stitch project. That was the extent of our day. It may sound boring to some of you, but it was pure contentment for us. :)
This evening Lindsay treated me to one last birthday present – an evening at the salon. A local salon, The Hair Studio, held a “Spa Night” this evening. For $20, they offered a choice of three mini-treatments of several of their services; polish change, foot massage, chair massage, eyebrow waxing, etc. It was lovely! The salon has a very warm, welcome atmosphere and the stylists are personable. The owner, Deb, was fun and I enjoyed chatting with her.
Thanks, Lins, for such a special treat. You are a fabulous daughter and I am so blessed to be your mom.
We're ending our day pretty much as we spent it – in our recliners, with our computers and watching TV. Don't be jealous! :)
Until the next time . . .
