Today was filled with errands. We woke up early - before 6:30! Guess that's 'cause our bodies are still on East Coast time. :)
While Randy walked Blackie, I took a brisk 30 minute walk around the park. I decided I need to walk when I don't get to Curves. Much as I hate to admit it, my legs and back feel better if I get that exercise in. Ugh! I hate it when the "experts" are right! :)
About 9am we headed out to do those first-of-the-month errands we do every month: bank run and grocery run. First stop, however, was the Foley Coffee Shop. We discovered this little coffee shop last year and now go at least once a month for breakfast. Good, inexpensive meals.
After breakfast we drove to Pensacola (yes, Florida) to go to the bank. Unfortunately, that is the closest branch of Bank of America to us here in Alabama. There is no B of A anywhere in AL. Weird, huh? Anyway, even though it's about a 45 minutes drive, it's a pleasant drive, and really? What else do we have to do??? :)
We came home after the bank run so that we could get the grocery list written. Once that was done it was back out the door to WalMart. A couple hours later we were back home and putting away the groceries. Once that was done, it was time to hit the recliners and watch some shows we'd recorded. We've got a lot of those to catch up on!
That was our day. Oh, and Bob & Pam came in this evening! YAY! Our friends are starting their migration "home." :) We took Blackie for another walk and went over to welcome Bob & Pam back. After a few minutes of hugging and saying hello, we let them get back to setting up. It's good to glance out our window and see their rig just up the street. :)
Hope you had a good day. Until the next time . . .
