We've had lots of music over the past few weeks! This morning the Pickers performed at Fairhope Avenue Baptist Church for the monthly meeting of its seniors. There was a potluck luncheon first, which of course was fabulous, and then we played for about 30 minutes.
It's always fun to play for these senior groups because they are so appreciative. They sing along with us and never fail to come up afterwards to let us know how much they enjoyed the music.
Once we got home, I spent the rest of the afternoon in the recliner, sleeping. I had gotten a rotten headache while we were out this morning and just wanted to sleep it off.
This evening we've watched TV and I worked on our itinerary for the fall. I also played with the itinerary for next summer. Yeah, I know. I'm a freak. :)
Tomorrow we're visiting a membership RV park, just for the fun of it. We won a $100 gift certificate to Camping World, but have to tour this park in order to redeem it. Usually, we don't do this kind of thing, but hey, we're retired, so what the heck! :)
Until the next time . . .
