Another Quickie

And no, not the good kind! :)

Sorry I haven't updated since Sunday, but this week did not turn out the way we had expected. We were really looking forward to spending time with my folks and playing. But, my mom's health interfered.

Mommy ended up in the hospital on Monday afternoon, having yet one more heart cath. A blockage was found and the doc performed angioplasty to get rid of it. Of course she had to spend the night which is usual procedure afterwards. We thought she'd come home Tuesday and we'd get on with our plans. Yeah, right.

Doctors decided there was another blockage behind the heart in a small vessel that was stented last year and they would need to do another cath to clear it. Well, after much discussion among the docs (apparently), it was decided that it would no good to do another cath and the situation would be treated with medicine. But, of course, Mommy would need to remain in the hospital while they adjusted her meds. Needless to say, she was not happy. (Why do we say "needless to say" and then say it anyway?? Just a thought.)

So, our week has not been fun-filled as anticipated. Daddy & I have spent each day at the hospital and Randy has hung out at the house. We're hoping that after another test today, Mommy will be able to come tomorrow. We'll see.

Our plan is to leave for PA tomorrow as scheduled. Of course that could change. I'll let you know!
