Pennsylvania, At Last

Knowing that my mom was gonna be okay, Randy & I left Ocean City about 8:30 this morning for our last leg of this long trip. Figured it would take us a little more than four hours to get to Dover, PA. I was pretty much on target - we pulled into the campground a little past 1pm.


We set up camp as quickly as possible 'cause I had other things on my mind - getting to Lindsay, Jason & Reagan! :) Of course, it still took a couple of hours. It always does, no matter how fast we try to do it. And it was the hottest day we've had this week, doesn't it figure. So, once we were set up, we had to get showers before we could go anywhere.

Finally, about 4:15 we headed over to Lindsay's. I couldn't wait to see them! And it was a great reunion. We got lots of hugs and kisses. Randy got his Father's Day gifts - a couple of SciFi movies. And I got to sit with Reagan while she went through the thimbles we'd gotten her while we've been on the road. After seeing how many thimbles we could get on our toes and fingers, it was time for dinner. Lins made us a good taco dinner. Yum.

Then, we got to bring Reagan home for a sleepover with us! I love it. She is such a person - so chatty and interested in everything. I find it fascinating to be with her. We took Blackie for a walk when we got to the RV, read some books, watched America's Funniest Videos, and then got Reagan settled in for the night. She's sleeping in her "camping bag," as she calls it, at the foot of our bed. I'm so grateful to have this time with her and am really looking forward to more of this all summer!
