We had a great afternoon yesterday - we went to our nephew's home. We hadn't seen Kenny & his family for quite a while. Kenny and his wife, Lisa, invited us as well as Lindsay, Jason & Reagan over for a barbecue.
Kenny & Lisa have two adorable boys, Trevor, who is 6 1/2, and Aiden, who is 3 years old. We were able to catch up on each other's lives and the three kids met each other for the first time. Trevor was great with Reagan! Very gentle and wanted to be sure she had plenty of toys to play with. Aiden is so cute and had a little trouble sharing his family with us. But, I don't blame him - he doesn't ever remember meeting us!
It was good to spend time with Kenny & Lisa. We don't see them enough. It seems we have such good intentions to get together with family and friends and then the days slide by! Gotta try to be better about that!
Enjoy the pictures!

Celebrating America's Birthday
Hope everyone is enjoying this holiday! We actually celebrated the 4th early and will be spending a quiet day at home tomorrow.
We started the weekend working at the campground, of course. And it was packed! We had campers everywhere you look. Saturday afternoon we were done and off to my sister and brother-in-law's for their annual cookout.
Paula & Lou's cookout is always a great time. They invite family, friends, friends of friends, etc. - pretty much everyone anyone in the family knows! They have a great yard for cookouts, plenty of room for the kids to play as well as the adults. I got to see some of my parents' friends who I don't get to see very often. I even got to meet family I had never met before (my mom's cousin and his wife)! And of course, that beautiful baby was the center of attention. Such a sweetheart, she is. Not that I'm biased at all!
On Sunday, our friends here at the campground, Don & Joyce, hosted their 2nd annual pig roast & cookout. They invite half of the campground as well as family. They barbecue and everyone brings a dish to share. This pork barbecue is the best I've ever tasted. I'm not a big fan of barbecue, but this is good stuff! Don & Joyce are such great people - they share their lives with us and are like family. Everyone loves them. They are very special to us.
Then, today, Lindsay, Reagan and our niece Lisa and her kids, Jimmy, Kylie & Kelsey came to the campground to play in the pool! That was fun. Lisa and the kids has never seen our RV, so we got to show it off to them. The kids had a little bit of a hard time understanding why Uncle Randy & Aunt Terry don't live in a "real" house! Got some pictures of them in the pool.
This is a great country we live in! Yeah, we've got some problems, but I sure wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
God Bless America!!!!!!!
