Easter Sunday

What a glorious day we had today! The sun was shining in a beautiful blue sky just as it should be on Resurrection Sunday! Happy Easter to all!

Randy and I attended a small church this morning; couldn't have been more than 30 people in the congregation including the kids. Three young teen girls sang a couple of praise choruses and the worship team of six sang another hymn. This church family definitely loves the Lord and made us feel so very welcome. It was neat to be part of such a service, unsophisticated compared to what we're used to, but wholly sold out to loving Jesus. Very cool.

This afternoon we joined the rest of the park in an Easter dinner. Usually at park dinners, the park provides the main course and everyone brings a dish to share. This time, however, we paid $4/person and didn't have to bring anything but our table settings. The food was great - ham, potato salad, baked beans, pasta salad, deviled eggs, bread and dessert. We sat with some fun folks and enjoyed ourselves.

A wonderful way to celebrate Easter - worshiping the risen Christ and fellowship with others. Hope you had a good Easter, too.

Tomorrow we travel to Williams, AZ. We'll be seeing the Grand Canyon and taking a day trip to Sedona. Looking forward to it.

Until the next time . . .
