Just Go With the Flow, Just Go With the Flow . . .

That's our mantra for the day. We've had a drastic change to our schedule in the last 24 hours - and you all know how much I love that!!

The weather forecast for the next couple of days in Williams and surrounding areas is for snow showers, rain, highs in the 30s and lows in the 20s. Okay, we figured we could handle that and even sit tight for a couple of extra days if necessary.

Well, that plan went you-know-where in a handbasket pretty quickly when our furnace stopped working!! Yes, isn't it grand? Well, it works - it blows air, cold air, but it won't fire. And sitting in the RV with a couple of small electric heaters in 30 and 20 degree weather ain't our idea of fun.

So, last night while the wind was blowing so hard we pulled the bedroom slide in and still couldn't sleep, we got up and made a plan. We decided to head south to the Phoenix area where the forecast was in the upper 60s, low 70s during the day and 40s and 50s at night. That we can handle until the furnace gets fixed.

We are actually on the road now, driving through intermittent snow showers - some rather thick. I've called a mobile RV service and they will be available to come out to the park this afternoon or tomorrow. Please pray that the repairs necessary aren't that expensive and can be done in just a few days.

Sorry there was no post last night about the Grand Canyon. The internet connection was slow so I couldn't upload pictures. I hope to do that tonight. It was a fantastic day, though.

Until the next time . . . from warmer temps, hopefully! :)

  1. We had a HR that the heater was doing the same thing, it would run but not fire, it was the mother board and was covered under warranty.
