Monday, Monday . . .

Well, it was just another day waiting for the RV guy to bring back the furnace. I went to Curves this morning. By 10am we hadn't heard from the repairman, so Randy gave him a call and he said he'd have it to us by the afternoon. Great! We can get out of here tomorrow.

The rest of the morning and afternoon was spent watching TV and cross stitching. The only thing planned was that our nephew, Matthew, was coming over for dinner. So, it was another lazy day.

About 4:30 we hadn't heard from or seen the repairman, so Randy called him again. He said he was on his way back to the shop and would see us in an hour or so.

Matthew was due for dinner about 6pm, and I knew that the propane would need to be turned off in order to reinstall the furnace, so I jumped on making dinner. I figured if it was done early we could reheat it in the microwave.

Dinner was ready a few minutes before 6pm, Matthew was here and we sat down to eat. I made baked ziti for the first time (thanks, Lins!) and it was very good. We also had a salad and garlic bread.

Needless to say the repairman didn't come - he called while we were eating and promised he'd be here first thing in the morning; before 9am. Let's hope so. Randy told him we had to be out of here by noon. Hopefully, that's what will happen. Guess we'll see.

We had another great evening with Matthew. He is such a nice young man. We've enjoyed spending time with him.

So, we're hoping to be traveling tomorrow. It will take us two days to get to Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado. We'll be doing an overnight in a truck stop in Tuba City, AZ tomorrow night, so no internet. I may do a short post before we go offline.

Until the next time . . .
