Just a quick post. We are spending the night in Tuba City, AZ at a truck stop. We're halfway to Mesa Verde! YAY!
It was an uneventful trip, which we always like. When we left Mesa at 12:15pm, it was 101 degrees!! I know I said I didn't want to be cold, but this was the other end of the extreme. ;) A few hours later (and a few thousand feet in elevation) and it was 69 degrees. Now, that's nice traveling weather.
Gonna relax for the rest of the night, then hopefully get an early start in the morning.
Oh and we're now in mountain time. East Coast folks - just two hours behind you now!
