Gratuitous Granddaughter Post

Only two things on the agenda today: a follow-up eye exam for me and a sleepover with Reagan this evening. Can you guess which one I was most looking forward to? :)

After getting a good report from the doctor (pressure check and test results for glaucoma – yep, I still have it, but I'm doing well), we picked Reagan up and off we went.

We took a drive to find a campground about 20 minutes or so north of Lindsay. Nope, no campground. Apparently, the website I found this campground at doesn't stay up-to-date. Where the campground was supposed to be was a big shopping center. One that had obviously been there for a couple of years, at least. Oh, well.

I talked to the owner of this campground and was encouraged to make our reservation for next year now and that way if any changes happen to ownership or membership, our reservation should be honored. So, that's what we're going to do. Hopefully, that's what will happen. 'Cause there just isn't any other campground nearby where we would want to live.

It's always a pleasure having Reagan over. She's a very nice little girl - and I'm not just saying that because she's ours! We played and watched TV and I even had a hair makeover by the “world renown” hairstylist, Reagan! :)

Now, this is love!Hairstylin'

Before bed we snuggled and watched a couple of her shows. Perfect.

Tomorrow we're going to the pool with my niece, Lisa, and her kids. First time in the pool for me this summer! Gotta be sure to use that sunscreen!

And one other granddaughter update – AubreyLynn's first ponytail! Of course, she would be asleep in the picture. :)

First ponytail for AL!

Until the next time . . .
