Pool Time

Hard as it is to believe, today was the first day I hit the pool this summer. It's just not a big thing for me. However, today our niece, Lisa, and her daughters, Kylie and Kelsey, came up to Lindsay's to go to Lindsay's pool. I was asked to go along, so you know I didn't decline that invitation.

Lisa and her girls got to Lindsay's about 11:15 and we were ready to go. We all piled into Lindsay's van; along with a picnic lunch, pool bags, and chairs, and headed to the pool. We picked a good day to go, too, because the temps were once again forecasted to be close to triple digits!

After we picked our spot, putting on sunscreen was the first thing on the agenda. At the pool!

Kelsey & Kylie were there, too.

Nothing ruins a fun day at the pool or beach than when a nasty sunburn shows up later that evening.

This pool has a lot to offer in addition to its three pools. It has athletic fields, volleyball courts, tennis courts, pavilions, and a small water park. And it's very family friendly.

Reagan took Kylie and Kelsey to the water park first. There are huge water guns, sprayers, etc., and a water slide. It was the slide that drew the girls, with Reagan leading the way.

We were there for about three hours and had a great time. I love seeing the cousins – two generations! - having fun together.

Cousins!

While I was gone, Randy enjoyed being at home, alone, in the quiet. :)

Until the next time . . .
