Setting Up in Pahrump, NV

At a few minutes past 8:00 this morning, we were in the park office to register for a site. The folks here are very friendly and, within a few minutes, we were registered and hitching the truck up to the rig and pulling into our site.

After getting set up, I updated our finances. We were going to the grocery for our big monthly purchase, but first I needed to get a shower and we both had to eat some lunch. Once those chores were over, it was off to WalMart. More than $200 later, we were on our way home. :)

That was pretty much our day. The rest of the afternoon and evening have been spent putting away all those groceries, watching TV, playing on the computer, etc. Just the norm. We had a pretty good dinner. I made a new recipe for chicken pot pie and it was pretty good. Randy said it was a keeper and that's all I need to hear!

Since I couldn't post pictures for you last night, here's a look at us leaving California and entering Nevada. There's some beautiful scenery out here, folks!!

Good-bye, California!
