Such a LONG Drive!

NOT!!! :) We traveled a whole 25 miles today - from one side of Branson to the other, actually to Branson West. It took us all of 45 minutes. That is our shortest day yet. Our shortest up 'til now was an hour and a half. I don't think we'll ever top today, though.

This area is so lovely - very green, with rolling hills. I could settle here for a while very easily. And this side of town is so different from the theater district. It's more country and quiet. Very nice.

We pulled out of Turkey Creek RV about 9:15 and arrived at Castle View RV about 10am. We had scoped out the site we wanted when we visited Dick & Pat on Tuesday and it was still available today. Since this is a membership park, it works a bit differently than most parks. Here we parked in the site first, then we go to the office to register. Our site is catty-cornered from Dick & Pat. It's a great site, morning sun and afternoon shade. Perfect!

Once we were set up, we spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and visiting with Dick & Pat. We grilled hot dogs for dinner and just enjoyed one another's company. Tomorrow we're going for drive to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I'm sure the scenery will be gorgeous.

I tried uploading a couple pictures tonight and the internet connection is just too slow. Hopefully, I'll be able to share some soon. We'll see. :)

Until the next time . . .
