This is the kind of weather we'd take EVERY day! It was chilly when we got up this morning, in the 30s, but when the sun came up, it quickly warmed up to the low 70s. Sunny, very light breeze, and temps in the 70s. Doesn't get much better than that.
After a lazy morning of coffee, computers, and news, we got ourselves out the door about 9:30 or so. I was going to Curves and Randy went with me so we could fuel up the truck. We also needed to pick up bread and milk.
Very conveniently, there is a Dollar General in the same shopping center as the Curves and it sold groceries as well. Never saw that before. Anyway, Randy meandered through Dollar General and picked up bread and milk. I like that kind of multi-tasking! :)
After I finished my workout, we were on our way to find fuel. Seemed the going rate was $3.05/gallon for diesel. But, we got lucky and Randy saw a BP with diesel for $2.99! Good job, hon! He filled the truck with 28 gallons and it only cost $84!! It's cause for a happy dance when we can fill the truck for under $100. AND we got 11.3 MPG for this tank – and that was towing! Good deal all around, I'd say.
We were done with the errands and headed home.
After we got some lunch, Randy washed the truck. I watched my DVR'd Dancing with the Stars and then went outside to sit in the sun and read. It was just lovely.
Dinner was cheddar chicken pasta. And our evening will be spent watching TV, as usual. :)
All in all, another great day in the life.
Tomorrow is travel day. We're headed further south, spending tomorrow night on the road. Plan to stop in Valdosta, GA for a couple of days. No particular reason other than it's on the way to Disney. :)
Hope you're having a good week. Until the next time . . .
