Overnight at the Cracker Barrel!

Yes, we are spending the night in the parking lot of a Cracker Barrel in Mebane, NC. I know, I know - you all are thinking Randy has achieved CB Nirvana! :) Actually, we're just trying to save a few bucks on site fees. Of course, by the time we have breakfast here tomorrow morning, we probably won't have saved a penny!

Anyway, this is something we've never done before - stayed overnight somewhere that is NOT a campground. Usually for overnighters we try to find a cheap campground to pull into, but we decided to give this a try. Many full-time RVers do this on a regular basis. Some even stay at truck stops for a couple of days. I'm not THAT enamored of saving a few bucks!! But, we'll see how we do. The big thing about doing this is that we have no utilities, none, nada, zilch. Since we have no generator, we have no utilities; other than propane that is. So, we'll be reading and going to bed early.

Oh and for those of you who are keeping count - after breakfast tomorrow, Randy will have 58 CBs under his belt - literally!

Tomorrow we'll get to Dan & Debbie's. It's only a couple of hours from here. That's where we'll be for the next week.

And I'm trying a new color for the type this time. Let me know what you think.
