Back in the Routine

I got up way too early for any sane person – about 4:45am. But, the upside of getting up early is I get my prayer and quiet time, without rushing through it. And that's always a good thing. I really like starting my day with God and His Word. It sure makes a difference in my attitude, that's for sure.

Randy's chore list for the day consisted of draining tanks, vacuuming, and his regular tasks. He was still hard at work when I got home. :) I am one lucky woman!

While Randy was working, I put in a half hour at Curves with a Zumba session. Then I dropped off a letter to Reagan at the post office. From there I went to the nail salon for my monthly pampering – mani/pedi, brows and lip waxing. The waxing I sure could do without (well, not according to our son-in-law, Jason!), but I do love my mani/pedis. So relaxing.

When I got home, I stopped in next door to visit with Bob & Pam for a bit. Bob & Pam have been full-time RVers for the past 14 years and finally bought a house here in the park. I'm so excited for them! It's a perfect house for a couple who have been living in 450 square feet for so long. It's not too big, not too small, but just right. They are excited, too. I love seeing friends happy.

This evening I had my Bible study. We're studying Beth Moore's Revelation study. Beth Moore is a tremendous teacher. You can't help but get drawn in. And I find it so timely to be studying Revelation right now. With all that's going on in the world, it sure seems like we may be entering some of the turbulence God spoke of. I'm so glad to know how it all ends – God wins! :)

Hope your week is off to a great start. Please continue to pray for Japan and its people. So tragic.

Until the next time . . .

Starting the day in God's word has a huge impact on me too and i sure feel the difference in myself when I don't! If only everyone knew how it ends!
