Honoring Our Veterans

Today the Jubilee Pickers performed at the local senior center during a program honoring veterans. It is such a humbling experience to be part of such a program. These men and women appreciate their service being acknowledged and it is a joy to do so. Having a son in the Army gives these programs even more weight. As I listen to their stories, I can't help but tear up and hope that someday my son's service will be honored as well.

Tomorrow is actually Veterans' Day. I hope you'll take a moment to pray for our veterans, their families, and the active military personnel as well. It is because of them that we live free.
