Travel Day to Casa Grande, AZ

We said good bye to Russ & Pat and Desert Trails RV about 9:20 this morning. It was great being able to take our time getting started as the drive ahead of us was under 2 hours. Now, that's a nice travel day! :)

It was an uneventful 85 miles from Tucson to Casa Grande. We pulled into Rover's Roost SKP Co-op a little past 11am.

We got set up and headed back out to get something to eat - at Cracker Barrel. This was #68, I believe. While Randy got his usual, I walked on the wild side and had Broccoli Cheddar Chicken. It was very yummy. :)

Back at the rig we just relaxed and caught up on some TV shows we'd recorded. I made a little more progress on my cross stitch project. We also made a couple of dates to get together with our nephew, Matthew, who lives in the area as well as a young man, Neil, who was part of our first Youth Ministry back in the early 90s. It should be fun to catch up with both of them. We haven't seen Matthew for several years and it's probably been 15 years since we've seen Neil. Glad we haven't changed any! :)

Not sure what's happening tomorrow except I know I gotta do laundry. Randy's got a couple of chores to do, too. We'll see what else comes up.

Until the next time . . .
