And It Ends Well, Too

We started our day in the usual way – coffee, computers and current events. (Had to work hard to come up with that alliteration!) I love that our church's worship service starts at 10am. Early enough to have most of the day, but late enough that we we don't have to scramble around in the morning to get there on time.

After worship service, we attended the church's annual meeting and potluck dinner. The meeting is held after the dinner. I like attending this meeting because I can see how important stewardship is to the church body. I am glad to say that this church does not spend beyond its means, nor is it frivolous with the money its members give. The leadership seeks God's direction in how they lead the church. They are very aware of Whose money they are spending. It's one of the many reasons we love this church.

We got home a little after 1pm, jumped into our comfy clothes and settled in our recliners. We watched some shows we'd DVR'd. It didn't take long before Randy was asleep. :) While he napped, I watched some of my shows.

Darrell & Judy surprised us by bringing a pizza over and sharing it with us. We enjoyed an impromptu evening of chewin' and chattin'. The four of us sure know how to have a good time. And it's always a good time when the Pattersons and Guilers get together.

Now, it's time to just get cozy and comfy for the remainder of the night. Aaahhhh, such a life. ;)

Until the next time . . .
