The alarm went off at 6am, but it was quickly turned off as my head was pounding. Randy got up early, but I slept in until almost 7:00. A couple of cups of coffee and an hour later and I was feeling much better.
The collision guy was supposed to come to check the damage on the RV Wednesday, but didn't make it. He called yesterday and said he'd be over today about 8:30. He came about 9am and did his write-up and was gone by 9:20. Now he has to send the estimates on the truck and the RV to the insurance adjuster. So, we wait.
Once the collision guy left, we were out the door. I needed to go to Curves and Randy went with me to take a propane tank to get filled. I was excited to find that we only paid $22.75 for our 30 lb tank instead of the $30 we'd been paying in South Carolina. Every little bit helps!
This afternoon I had practice with The Chenilles over at the clubhouse. This group of women sing silly songs for different events held at the clubhouse. We are singing Sunday evening during International Food Night. It's a lot of fun.
This evening we went to Darrell & Judy's for coffee and dessert and to meet Don & Jenny. Don & Jenny are newlyweds and “part-timers.” Jenny really had wanted to RV full-time, but life events got in the way. (Don't you hate it when that happens?!??!!) Then, she met Don and they married and now live in TN, but are enjoying their time out on the road. This is new to Don, but he seems to be enjoying himself.
As it usually goes when RVers get together, there was food and much laughter and conversation. Randy & I enjoyed getting to know Don & Jenny. And, of course, we always have a good time with Darrell & Judy.
Nothing planned for tomorrow. Gotta do laundry, but that's it. Weather supposed to be getting warmer!! Yippee!
Until the next time . . .
The best part of this life is meeting all the wonderful people.
