At 5am my eyes popped open and I was awake. Wide awake. So, I got up. Boy, it makes for a long day when you start that early. Yes, I know many folks get up that early every day – but those are people who WORK. I. Do. Not. So, I really shouldn't be waking up that early. Just sayin'.
One of the music groups I play with, Jam 'N Folks, had a gig nearby this morning, so Randy and I went. They sounded really good and played some music I hadn't heard before. It helped me get excited about getting back into playing. I haven't touched my dulcimer since we left Alabama last year. So, rusty though I'll be, it will be fun getting back to it.
After the gig, Randy & I stopped at Petersen's RV to see if they do body work on RVs. Unfortunately, they do not. We really like Petersen's as they done good work for us in the past. Chris, the owner, did recommend Freeman's Collision in Foley, so we went there.
We met the owner, a nice gentleman, who immediately got a technician to look at the truck and get started on the estimate. They also do some body work on RVs and Chason will come out tomorrow to look at that damage to ascertain whether they can do the work. We like both of the guys and hope they can do the work.
Once we got home, it was time to grab some lunch and relax for the afternoon. I did get a short nap. Larry & Cindy stopped by to welcome us “home.” It was good of them to do that. :)
This evening Pat and Dick came over for dinner. Dick loves spaghetti and meatballs so I make it for him a couple of times while we're here. With salad and garlic bread, it was a good meal, if I do say so myself. :)
We've settled in for the evening and I'm thinking it's gonna be an early night. Actually, now that we're back in Central time, we'll probably be hitting the bed by 10pm most nights.
Tomorrow I'm planning to go to Curves. Need to get back into a routine. Can't wait to see my friends there!
Until the next time . . .
Glad you found someone you like and trust to do your repairs. I think that is half of the battle.
