Yes, another exciting blog post! :)
That was the great adventure of the day – going to the grocery. Of course, it was the first one of the month, so it took a couple of hours. But for some reason, we spent less today than we have the past couple of months. So, that's a good thing! :)
When we got home, we had the chores of putting everything away and portioning out meat for freezing. I'm not sure which is worse – doing the actual shopping or putting it all away. And yes, I know I say that every month!
Once I got dinner in the crockpot (enchiladas), it was time for lunch and catching up on the programs that had been DVR'd while we were in PA. That put Randy in front of one TV and me another. :)
And that's how we spent our afternoon.
Told you it was an exciting post!! :) Tomorrow we're taking a drive with Gene and Judi to Hilton Head Island. Hope we get some good pictures!

I think holiday groceries are always more expensive for some reason. Now it's January and we're all feeling frugal again ;-)
